Atopic dermatitis (AD) is an inflamed skin condition with relapsing pruritus and cutaneous physiological dysfunction. This disorder widespread around the world frequently affects infants, children adults. Natural products bioactive lead compounds are source of natural medicines for complementary alternative therapy in managing AD. Cassia alata has been used traditionally as a remedy variety health issues. In Asian countries, it ethnomedicine to treat conditions such pityriasis versicolor, ringworm, scabies, shingles, urticaria itching. According previously published studies, phytochemicals C. may have wide range significant pharmacological effects. AD management highlighted here, this review explores literature on effects its phytochemical content. Specifically, antibacterial, wound healing, anti-inflammatory antioxidant reviewed discussed relation management.
